Join us for Verde Tech's Welcome Back Event!

Our freshmen spent some time at the Farm at Bent River yesterday, getting to work in the hoop house. They are tackling the weeds to prepare the soil for planting. Stay tuned!

Thank you to our anonymous donors for their generous gift of a giant Jenga game, an oversized Connect Four game, and several other activities for our students to enjoy during lunch.
These games create opportunities for students to build important life skills. Giant Jenga encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and patience. Connect Four promotes strategic thinking, planning ahead, and healthy competition while helping students strengthen social connections.
We are looking forward to welcoming our students tomorrow. We're ready for an awesome year!

Thank you, Sisterhood Connection Foundation, for your generous donation of six beautiful Adirondack chairs to Verde Tech High School!
The chairs are now part of our center courtyard, and will give students another comfortable place to gather during the school day.
We truly appreciate your support for our school community!

Egg-citing things are happening at Verde Tech High School!
Last night, the first turkey poults hatched in our Agriculture Program. These are the very first turkeys ever hatched by our students!
Now the big question is... will our peacock eggs be next?

Verde Tech High School celebrated the end of the school year with a barbeque at The Farm at Bent River. Students have worked and learned at the farm throughout the year, and today was a well-earned chance to relax, enjoy good food, and make s’mores together. Thank you to The Farm at Bent River for their continued support of our campus!

Verde Tech High School students put their animal skills to work during today’s field trip to Wildlife World Zoo! Verde Tech also extends a big thank you to our transportation department for getting us there safely and making this experience possible!

The Farm at Bent River has a new “Apple Gazebo” thanks to our freshmen (the Class of 2029)!
To wrap up their year working at the farm for their agricultural sciences class, the students planted seven apple trees . We’re thankful for our partnership with the farm and all the great experiences it gives our students!

Verde Tech High School students recently showcased their creativity and technical skills during our floriculture event!
Students explored careers in the floriculture industry while demonstrating skills in floral design, plant identification, maintenance, and sales practices.
As part of their learning, students created a $55 round floral arrangement using a variety of design elements and techniques. Each student was able to take home their finished arrangement.

We were happy to host Teddy Armstrong, the district’s 21st Century Coordinator, on campus yesterday.
While she was here to see our programs in action, she took a quick detour to meet our very own Teddy the Rooster. It’s not every day you get a visit from your namesake!
Thanks for stopping by, Teddy!

Verde Tech students recently completed a Human Cannonball lab, applying trigonometry and physics to solve a real problem. Given a launch angle and speed, they calculated where a projectile should land using formulas and functions they’ve been studying in class.
They then tested their predictions using a projectile launcher and compared their results to their calculations.

Big news at Verde Tech! Our first duck of the spring has hatched, and the duckling was bred right here on campus. We are so proud of the work our agriculture students are doing!
